Design with Nature Virtual Event – Pennsylvania

The Design with Nature Virtual Event is a live, virtual session for Girl Scouts in grades K-5 to earn the third badge in the Math in Nature badge series, Design with Nature. Attendance is by invitation only. This event is being hosted by [Insert full council name] in collaboration with J&J employee volunteers. During the event, attendees will begin as one group, then Girl Scouts will go into breakout rooms to complete the badge activities for their level, and finally return for the Closing Ceremony & Awards as one group. At the event:

  • Daisies will go on an animal adventure! They’ll count birds, identify animal tracks, and make their own adventure map.

  • Brownies will have a pollinator party! They’ll learn how important bees, hummingbirds, and other animals are to our planet. They’ll tell the age of a tree, explore the shape of beehives, and build their own bird feeder.

  • Juniors will hold a cozy campout! They’ll explore how fast humans and animals move, choose a map trail for their campout, calculate its elevation, and pack their equipment, including food, water, and other supplies.

Email Kathryn Vore to register for the event.

This event runs from 10am–12pm ET.
